Lelu to host 2026 Alcoballics and Five0 Softball Tournament
Lelu, Kosrae - This summer, the island of Kosrae will once again come alive with the crack of bats and the roar of the crowd as Lelu Municipality hosts the 2026 Alcoballics and Five0 Softball Tournament. Though the exact date is still to be announced, anticipation is already building across the community.
Excitement is building across the island as preparations intensify for this year’s highly anticipated municipal competition. Under the leadership of Mayor Atchuo Welly, the Mayor’s Planning Committee—chaired by Mr. Aaron C. Alokoa—has convened multiple times to ensure the event will be bigger, smoother, and more memorable than ever before.
The tournament will bring together teams from all four municipalities of Kosrae, joined by visiting groups from Hawaii and the U.S. Mainland. More than just a contest of athletic skill, the gathering is a vibrant showcase of cultural pride, unity, and community spirit.
