Lelu Island, a human-crafted sanctuary once home to ancient kings and queens, is said to resemble a whale when viewed from afar. According to cherished local legend, the island emerged from a sea mammal bound to a reef stone by a woman of great power and compassion. This tale of transformation and guardianship inspired the official seal and flag of Lelu Town.The six stars on the emblem represent the six vibrant hamlets of Lelu Village, each with its own spirit and story:
•     Harbor Breeze – where the ocean whispers and welcomes
•     Sea Siders – guardians of the shoreline and its rhythms
•     Pottoric – rooted in strength and tradition
•     KKWarriors – bold hearts, united in purpose
•     IL (Ilanglang Lasrfol) – fragrant winds of renewal
•     Pansre (Panne Sresre) – the radiant path of resilience​
